Public, private, and intimate space converge in this work to express how one might experience these spaces differently as a single person, in a single-person home. Visitors are invited to view the work from a doormat, and move keys between each nail as they desire, leaving evidence of their visit. The mutability of the work triggers an affective sense of coming and going that might otherwise be absent in this home.
